This is the support page for Gifted – Escape Room Riddles, a riddle and reasoning game for children from third grade up. Any question, problem or request — we answer.

Reporting a bug

Two ways:

• The 🐞 button inside the game — tapping it offers three fixed choices: "Too hard", "Too easy" and "Mistake or bug". Pick one and the report reaches us straight away. There is no text box and it is fully anonymous — it tells us only which choice, which screen, and which app version. This is the fast path and it covers most reports.
• Email — for anything that needs describing, email us with bug: at the start of the subject line, e.g. bug: the riddle on door 14 won't open. That helps us route it quickly. Click here to open such an email.

If you can, tell us which board, room or door, what happened, what you expected, and which device you're on.

Restoring a purchase

Your full-version purchase is held by the store you bought it from — Google Play or the App Store — and tied to your account there, not by us and not only on the device. It keeps working after you switch phones, delete and reinstall, or sign in on another device with the same account, at no extra charge.

• In most cases the restore happens by itself, the first time you open the app with an internet connection.
• If it didn't: open the purchase window (the 💎 button on the home screen) and tap "Restore purchase" at the bottom.
• Android (Google Play): make sure you're signed in with the Google account that made the purchase, and that the app was installed from Google Play — a Play purchase only works in a build that Play installed.
• iPhone (App Store): make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID that made the purchase.
• Either way, you need to be online.

Game progress

Progress — the doors you've opened and the stars you've earned — is stored locally on the device only and is never sent anywhere. No account, no sign-up and no password is needed to play.

About preparing for the test

The game practises questions in the style of the gifted-program screening test samples and turns the preparation into a game, so it does not necessarily represent the real test in full or cover every type of question. To learn exactly how answers are filled in and how it feels to work under time pressure, also practise the official sample questions from the Ministry of Education test site with paper, pencil and a clock. That said, we did our best to make the preparation fun for kids.
